Cycling and Walking
There is plenty to do in the local area during your stay at Hölte. Are you looking to get active? There are plenty of cycling or walking opportunities here. Hölte Holiday Park is located on the Holterberg hill. You can walk or cycle directly into this beautiful natural area from the park. This area, also known as the Sallandse Heuvelrug, is very popular with walkers and cyclists. The Holterberg, which is approximately 60 metres above sea level, serves as the centre of this national park. There are also some hills for more energetic cyclists. In addition to the Sallandse Hevelrug, the park also borders the Borkeld nature reserve. The Regge region, alongside the Regge river, is also nearby. This beautiful river can be enjoyed by canoe or boat, or along the scenic riverside cycle and walking path. A great way to experience nature up close.
The cycle and walking routes start directly from the park. Our park is even situated directly along the World Time Path between Rijssen and Holten - a walking route full of information. In our living room we have free information leaflets on several cycle routes.
